Lordswood and Walderslade
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Antisocial behaviour. Issued 20 November 2025 |
We have been carrying out high‑visibility patrols in the area to help us spot the people causing antisocial behaviour and deal with any problems we find. We are using our antisocial behaviour powers when needed and are working closely with Medway Housing. We have also issued Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices. These are tools used to stop ongoing antisocial behaviour. A Community Protection Warning tells someone that their behaviour is causing problems and must stop. If they ignore the warning, a Community Protection Notice can be given. This is a legal notice that requires them to stop the behaviour or take steps to prevent it happening again. We are also visiting youth groups to talk with young people who may be linked to antisocial behaviour. By getting to know them and offering support, we hope to reduce issues in the area. Nuisance vehicles. Issued 20 November 2025 |
We have been carrying out high visibility patrols in the area. We are working with the community to find out where e-scooters and e-bikes are being kept. This helps us identify who owns them and deal with any offences. When needed, we are seizing scooters. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Fly-tipping. Issued 20 November 2025 |
We are working with Medway Council to clear away any fly‑tipping we find. After the rubbish is removed, we look into who is responsible. We check any nearby CCTV and make sure the people involved are held to account. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
