Rainham South West
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 21 November 2025 |
We are patrolling areas where there are problems with antisocial behaviour, and we are speaking with victims to make sure they feel supported. We are also working with local businesses, schools, and the Child Centred Policing Team to help identify the young people involved. We are dealing with any offences we find and speaking with parents when needed. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

E-Scooter/E-Bikes. Issued 21 November 2025 |
We have been carrying out high‑visibility patrols in the area. We are working with the community to find out where illegal e‑scooters are being kept and who owns them, and we are dealing with any offences we find. This includes giving out Section 59 warnings and seizing scooters when needed. A Section 59 warning is a formal notice given when a vehicle is used in a way that is careless, inconsiderate, or causes alarm, distress, or annoyance. The warning lasts for 12 months, and if the same person or vehicle behaves in the same way again, the police can seize the vehicle. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
