Rainham South East
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

E-Scooter/E-Bikes. Issued 21 November 2025 |
We have been carrying out high‑visibility patrols in the area. We are working with the community to find out where illegal e‑scooters are being kept and who owns them, and we are dealing with any offences we find. We have given Section 59 warnings and seized scooters when needed. A Section 59 warning is a formal notice given when a vehicle is used in a way that is careless, inconsiderate, or causes alarm, distress, or annoyance. The warning lasts for 12 months, and if the same person or vehicle behaves in the same way again, the police can seize the vehicle. We have also asked the council to install a rapid‑deployment CCTV camera in the area to help identify people riding e‑scooters there. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 21 November 2025 |
We are patrolling areas where there are problems with antisocial behaviour, and we are speaking with victims to make sure they feel supported. We are also working with local businesses, schools, and the Child Centred Policing Team to help identify the young people involved. We are dealing with any offences we find and speaking with parents when needed. A request has also been made to the council for a rapid‑deployment CCTV camera to be installed in the area. This will help us spot anyone acting in an antisocial way more quickly. Actioned 21 January 2026 |

Road safety issues. Issued 21 November 2025 |
We have been carrying out speed checks in the area. We are also speaking with residents about setting up a Community Speedwatch Group, and this work is ongoing. Alongside this, our officers are doing high visibility patrols so people can easily see us in the area. Actioned 21 January 2026 |
