Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 03 November 2025 |
Officers continue to carry out regular patrols in hotspot areas, including Senacre Square. We are working closely with residents and local businesses to prevent nuisance behaviour and to identify the people involved. Where needed, proportionate interventions are used, such as Acceptable Behaviour Agreements (ABAs) and educational work to help reduce further issues. Actioned 23 January 2026 |

Proactive patrols and intelligence gathering are ongoing to identify suspects involved in drug supply. At this time, no persons have been identified or stop searched in relation to drug dealing in the area. Patrols and intelligence development will continue to reduce the risk of this occurring in the future. Actioned 23 January 2026 |

Targeted patrols continue, with stop search powers used where appropriate to prevent and disrupt drug activity. No individuals have been stopped in possession of drugs during recent patrols; however, high visibility policing will continue to deter offending. Actioned 23 January 2026 |
