Vauxhall
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Road safety issues. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We have been focusing on improving road safety in the area. Officers carried out speed checks on Priory Road, and regular roadside and system checks have been completed during patrols to identify any offences involving vehicles or drivers. During this work, a car was stopped on Baker Lane for having no insurance, and the driver was issued with a traffic offence report and required to attend court. We will continue taking firm action to help keep local roads safe. Actioned 14 January 2026 |

Drug taking. Issued 09 October 2025 |
Drug-related issues remain a challenge in some parts of our neighbourhood, but we are committed to tackling them. When drug activity takes place in public, we take firm action. Recently, a local resident received a suspended sentence after we obtained a warrant and searched their address. By targeting those who supply drugs, we aim to reduce availability and, in turn, limit drug use in our area. Working together, we can make our neighbourhood safer and healthier for everyone. E-scooters/E-bikes. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We recently shared news through My Community Voice and the Tonbridge Newsletter to remind people who live here that e-scooters are not allowed to be used on public roads and pavements. Anyone using them incorrectly risk having their scooter seized. Colleagues from the Child Centred Policing Team have been into local schools and provided facts and advice around e-scooters and where they can be used. Our aim is to keep everyone safe and informed—please help us by following the rules and encouraging others to do the same. Actioned 14 January 2026 |
