Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Antisocial behaviour - general. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We have been visiting Tonbridge Park regularly to help keep the area safe and welcoming. During our patrols, officers stopped and searched a young person who had been using nitrous oxide canisters and causing a nuisance, and the group they were with was moved on. We often speak with young people in and around the park, having friendly conversations about how their behaviour can affect the wider community. Actioned 14 January 2026 |

E-scooters/E-bikes. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We recently shared news through My Community Voice and the Tonbridge newsletter to remind people who live here that e-scooters are not allowed to use on public roads and pavements. Anyone using them incorrectly risks having their scooter seized. We also spoke with a young person in Tonbridge Park who was pushing an e-scooter and contacted their parents to provide advice on the correct and safe use of e-scooters. Actioned 14 January 2026 |

Criminal damage. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We have not received many reports of criminal damage, but we are aware that Tonbridge School has been affected. We remain in regular contact with the school’s Security Team to help identify anyone who may be involved. Recently, two young people were identified for causing damage at the school. They were interviewed and received community resolutions for their actions. Actioned 14 January 2026 |
