Snodland East & Ham Hill
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Nuisance motorbikes. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We are aware that nuisance motorbikes have been causing issues along the A228, and the noise can be disruptive for people who live in Snodland. To tackle this, Neighbourhood Police, Response Teams, and Traffic Units have all been tasked with attending the area at key times. Where there is evidence of breaking rules, details will be shared with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council so they can take action alongside the police using our powers. Working together, we aim to reduce this problem and keep the neighbourhood safe and peaceful. Actioned 14 January 2026 |

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We have been working hard to tackle antisocial behaviour in Snodland, and our increased foot patrols and visible presence around the High Street have played a key role in reducing the number of calls to the area. Anyone who has committed offences and has been identified has been interviewed and positive action taken against them. We are committed to keeping the town centre safe and welcoming for everyone. Road safety issues. Issued 09 October 2025 |
Vehicle-related antisocial behaviour, such as the car meets that take place on the A228 are being investigated in partnership with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council. Community Protection Warnings and Fixed Penalty Notices are being issued to car owners who breach the local orders and patrols take place at the relevant times when officers are available to do so. These actions help make sure our roads and public spaces remain safe and enjoyable for all. Actioned 14 January 2026 |
