Aylesford North & North Downs
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Road safety issues. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We have been working hard to fix speeding concerns in Wouldham, particularly on Knowle Road and New Court Road. Patrols have been carried out alongside the Community Speedwatch Team, and a significant number of tickets have been issued for speeding. Thanks to these efforts, reports of speeding have reduced, which is great news for road safety. We’ll continue watching these areas to keep everyone safe. Actioned 14 January 2026 |

Nuisance motorbikes. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We are aware of issues with nuisance motorbikes, particularly around the quarry in Aylesford. Although this is slightly outside our patch, we’re working closely with local security and helping whenever incidents occur. Visible patrols on foot and checks are carried out when possible, and we’re committed to tackling this problem to stop problems and keep the area safe. Actioned 14 January 2026 |

Fly tipping. Issued 09 October 2025 |
When PC Brown first joined the team, fly-tipping was a significant concern, but we’re pleased to see that reports have dropped considerably. We continue to work with Parish Councils and partner agencies to watch the situation and quickly help if issues arise. Keeping our environment clean and safe remains a priority. Actioned 14 January 2026 |
