work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Antisocial behaviour. Issued 09 October 2025 |
Officers have been carrying out foot patrols around areas where antisocial behaviour happens to try and stop it. We have met with local businesses and the Parish Council to talk about the problems. Two people who were causing trouble by using catapults and damaging property have been identified and interviewed. Officers have also talked to others who might be involved. This gave officers the chance to explain the law and help stop future problems. Actioned 14 January 2026 |

Criminal damage. Issued 09 October 2025 |
In Borough Green, some people were breaking things with catapults. Police spoke to the people affected and local businesses. They found the people responsible and dealt with them. Because of this, there are now fewer incidents like this. Actioned 14 January 2026 |

Road safety issues. Issued 09 October 2025 |
Residents and Parish Councils raised concerns about speeding through small villages. In response, officers targeted these areas with high‑visibility patrols, traffic stops and static speed checks. This proactive approach has led to several prosecutions and provided much‑needed reassurance to the communities affected. Actioned 14 January 2026 |
