Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 27 October 2025 |
The beat officer has been working hard to deter and detect antisocial behaviour, taking positive action in cases of shoplifting, nuisance vehicles, criminal damage and similar issues. This has resulted in several arrests, Community Protection Warnings and Acceptable Behaviour Agreements being issued, as well as the use of diversionary measures to reduce further reports. Drug dealing. Issued 27 October 2025 |
The beat officer continues to work with other agencies to tackle drug dealing in the area. High‑visibility patrols are being carried out to spot issues early and deter this type of offending. We encourage people to keep reporting any concerns so we can take action where needed. Actioned 26 January 2026 |

Road safety. Issued 27 October 2025 |
The beat officer continues to work to identify and address road safety issues. This includes carrying out Speedwatch checks and working with other agencies to pinpoint locations that may be more at risk. She is also working hard to identify vehicles being used in an antisocial way so that appropriate sanctions can be issued and drivers can be spoken to and educated. We will continue to monitor these concerns and take action where possible to help keep the community safe. Actioned 26 January 2026 |
