Southborough & Bidborough
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Road safety. Issued 27 October 2025 |
The beat officer continues to work to identify and address road safety issues. This includes carrying out Speedwatch checks and working with other agencies to pinpoint locations that may be more at risk. She is also working hard to identify vehicles being used in an antisocial way so that appropriate sanctions can be issued and drivers can be spoken to and educated. We will continue to monitor these concerns and take action where possible to help keep the community safe. Actioned 26 January 2026 |

Criminal damage. Issued 27 October 2025 |
These issues are monitored through regular reporting and recording so we can identify areas that need high‑visibility patrols to deter and detect criminal damage. We encourage people to keep reporting incidents, as this helps us understand where problems are happening and allows officers to focus on locations that may be more vulnerable to this type of crime. Noise nuisance. Issued 27 October 2025 |
Officers are working closely with partner agencies to deal with reports of nuisance noise. We are making sure the right teams are involved so that suitable advice, education and sanctions can be given where needed. We encourage people to continue reporting these issues so they can be responded to promptly and effectively. Actioned 26 January 2026 |
