Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety issues. Issued 15 July 2026	Road safety continues to be a concern for local residents, and neighbourhood officers have been carrying out enforcement activity in key locations across the area. Two Section 59 warnings have been issued to drivers using vehicles in an antisocial or careless manner. A Section 59 warning is a formal notice that allows police to seize a vehicle if it is involved in similar behaviour again within 12 months. Officers have also stopped a number of vehicles and seized those being driven without insurance, with traffic offence reports issued where appropriate. In addition, several drivers have been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving or drug-driving offences. Residents are encouraged to continue sharing their concerns through local community meetings or by signing up to My Community Voice. Information from the public helps officers identify issues, target patrols and take action where it is needed most. Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 15 July 2026	PC Crush has been working to tackle antisocial behaviour in the area, including the illegal and nuisance use of vehicles. Over the past few months, a large number of e-scooters have been seized during patrols and enforcement activity. Officers also attended a property following reports of nuisance vehicle use, where a vehicle was seized and a young person was issued with a Community Protection Warning. This is a formal warning used to address behaviour that is having a negative impact on the community and can lead to further action if the behaviour continues. PC Crush is also aware of reports of motorbikes being ridden antisocially and has been involved in efforts to identify and stop those responsible. Further enforcement activity is planned to help tackle this issue. High-visibility patrols have also been carried out in locations highlighted by local residents. The public are encouraged to continue reporting concerns through local community meetings or by signing up to My Community Voice. Nuisance motorcycles. Issued 15 July 2026	PC Crush is aware of reports of motorbikes being ridden antisocially in the area and has been actively targeting this issue through patrols and enforcement activity. During one incident, he pursued a rider who failed to stop, and further action is being planned to tackle the misuse of motorbikes. High-visibility patrols have also been carried out in locations identified by local residents, helping to deter nuisance behaviour and reassure the community. In addition, a number of high-powered e-bikes have been seized during routine patrols where offences have been identified. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting issues through local community meetings or by signing up to My Community Voice.
